Cardiovascular exercise may seem unnecessary when it comes to getting ride of that arm flab, however, working your whole body is the most important aspect of toning any area. Fat tends to come off the body evenly; therefore you can’t just target one area. Begin to tone your arms by getting in thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise five days a week.
Overhead lifts with weights are a great way to get ride of that arm flab, especially the underside of your arm. Take either two small weights, or one large one, and lift your arms over your head and bend back your elbows. Continue this repeatedly in order to feel the burn!
Side lifts are just as important when trying to reduce that flab on your arms and keep it off. Using the same weights hold your arms at your side and slowly lift your arms until they form a straight “T” formation, even with your shoulders. Hold the position for five seconds before lowering your arms. For best results, repeat three sets of ten lifts.
Push-ups are the classic exercise when it comes to getting rid of arm fat. Start on the ground with your hands flat and inline with your shoulders in order to support your weight. Keep your back straight as you bend your elbows and slowly lift back up. Hold a ten second plank position in between each repetition.
Remember it is important to maintain a regular routine in order to keep your arms toned and rid of that flab forever.
